Overview
This page documents the current status of Tao Tao and five additional cats located in Vientiane, Laos.
Tao Tao has been successfully relocated and is currently safe in Bangkok, Thailand.
Five other cats remain at Saitong Resort, which is located approximately 10 minutes from Nampien Yorla Pa Resort.
Efforts are ongoing to secure their relocation.

Status: Safe
Tao Tao was transported from Laos to Bangkok and currently resides in supervised pet boarding where he receives daily care and monitoring.
Cats Remaining in Laos
Five cats currently remain at Saitong Resort:
- Prajna
- Bila
- Aether
- Cyan
- Rasa
These animals were previously under the direct care of the current caretaker but are presently located on property associated with the resort.
According to the caretaker responsible for the cats, relocation has been delayed due to a dispute with two individuals connected to the property:
- Sai
- Som
Current Objective
The immediate objective is to secure safe recovery and relocation of the five remaining cats from Saitong Resort.
Updates will be added here as the situation develops.
Documentation Status
Veterinary records, treatment documentation, and related materials for the cats are currently stored at a private apartment in Vientiane, Laos.
At this time it is not safe for the caretaker to return to Laos to retrieve these materials.
Because of this, some documentation cannot currently be accessed or published.
However, the following information is available and can be confirmed:
- the names and identities of the rescued cats
- the current location of the five cats at Saitong Resort
- the relocation of Tao Tao to Bangkok, Thailand
Efforts are ongoing to recover or reconstruct veterinary records and related documentation when it becomes safe to do so.
